Mark 9:24 “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief”

There are times in life when it is difficult to fully trust God. In Mark 9, a father is desperate because of a need in his family. While encountering Jesus, he asks if Jesus can heal his son. Jesus responds that “everything is possible for those who believe.” This man gives an honest response that I have thought many times. “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief.”

The Art of Rest

Mark 6:31 “Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

You never know how a simple encounter can change your life. Looking back on my life some of my deepest relationships have started with the most unexpected encounters. The same can be said
