Greg Headshot

Greg Heibert, Assistant Area Director

Upon Graduating from High School in Pittsburgh, Greg had dreams of becoming a business owner looking to utilize his communication and collaboration skills to provide services to the public. He enrolled at Geneva college and graduated with a business degree.
Owning a business did not come about until 2001 as he started out cleaning carpets, working his way through a national company to eventually Senior Vice President. During this time of his career, Greg learned valuable leadership skills from starting at the bottom to leading multiple branches. While the goal in mind from a business perspective was increasing sales and making a profit, Greg focused on developing and training his people and serving their needs. Purchasing a Sears franchise in 2001 and operating through 2019, Greg was able to transfer his skills from the business world to development of his own company. Throughout the years, Greg expanded his learning and leadership skills in many roles. Converting back to Christianity in 2004 Greg has engaged in many speaking engagements throughout the city of Pittsburgh sharing his testimony of addiction, attempted suicide, business and personal floods/fires/bankruptcy, a near death rafting experience and many other challenges. He has mentored many men at church and led/participated in many organizations in helping men in life and business skills. Greg has been on the board at his local church in the counseling center, was on the board of the Pittsburgh experiment, the president of AM spirit networking group and Christian business forums, chaired a CLC group, went through Pittsburgh Leadership foundation, spent 6 months in Dave Buehring leadership collaborative, was involved with many business networking groups, and led discipleship journeys with Lionshare. Greg’s passion is mentoring men and he has led accountability groups for over 20 years working with thousands of men and expanding this into 8 other groups.

Greg currently works at Light of Life homeless shelters in Pittsburgh as a Special Projects Coordinator and Social Enterprise. He has been married to Linda going on 40 years this year, and together they have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. His passion is his grandkids, sports, playing senior softball, golf and playing the piano.
