Acts 2:46-47  “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.  They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

It is always amazing to watch God do something that is unexplainable.  Years ago I was sitting with a leader of a large church, which grew rapidly and was reaching thousands of people each week.  I asked him how did this happen.  He looked at me and said, “Mike, God did this! There is no other explanation.”   That is something we all want to be a part of!  Those moments when it feels like you’re riding a wave that God is creating!

The same is true in our personal lives as well.  When our families are in a great run, or business is booming,  or anytime if feels like we are riding a wave of great momentum.  Many times if we are honest, these seasons are not because of our work but rather seasons of God’s unexplainable blessing.

In Acts 2 the greatest organization of all time started: The Church.  But its beginning was very unexplainable.  Two thousand years ago a few uneducated rural fishermen, overnight, became bold enough to die for their conviction that Jesus rose from the dead, and they started a world-wide movement called the Church that conquered the Roman Empire. How do you explain that?  The really amazing part is that God wants to do the same today through you!

Is there a passion in your heart that He is calling you too?  Are you having trouble connecting the dots on just how to make it happen?  Is there one more step that you can take that can start and unexplainable story in your life?

Take a few moments to read and reflect on the unexplainable movement that we are a part of today in Acts 2.  What unexplainable challenge is God putting in your heart today?

God Bless,

Mike
