1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:  that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day…”

The other day, my daughter asked me to help her with her math homework.  She is in 11th grade and taking college placement Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry.  As she began to lay out her question, a feeling of defeat came over me!  I did not understand her question and there was no possible way I could help!

The message of Easter is so good because it tells us that Jesus has defeated the greatest problems we will ever face (even Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry!), and because of this, He is more than capable of handling our lesser problems too!  Jesus is undefeated!  He can resurrect our dead dreams, free us from our dead-end patterns, and give us eternal life!

How about you?  Are you feeling defeated today?  Sometimes we can even feel like we are at the end of ourselves!  It is in these moments that we need to lean on the only one who is undefeated!

Take a few moments to read and reflect on 1 Corinthians 15 and embrace the only undefeated one: Jesus Christ!  Happy Easter!
