Strong at the Broken Places: A River of Blessing

Ezekiel 47:8-9 “The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure.  There will be swarms of living things wherever the water of this river flows.” 

A few weeks ago, I went on an amazing hike.  I was in the Smoky Mountains and had a free day to explore.  After doing a quick search on my phone, I found a great trail that took me up a stream as I ascended a mountain.  The beauty was incredible, and I found myself stopping a few times to take in the creation around me. 

In Ezekiel 47, the Lord gives Ezekiel a vision of a beautiful river that is a blessing to many.  The river that he sees grows deeper and wider, gives life, and flows through those who follow God. 

How about you?  Are you flourishing in your relationship with God?  Can you identify relationships that need to be refreshed?  Is there a root of anxiety, depression, or emptiness that that needs to be addressed?  How can you position your heart to experience the refreshing of the presence of God?
