Philippians 4:8 “Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.” 

In many ways this year has created unique challenges.  COVID has certainly created a number of them but it has also revealed issues that have always been there but we have just been too busy to notice.  Maybe you have noticed that you don’t deal with stress in a healthy way and this season has made you evaluate how to handle life in a different way.  The same is true when it comes to the lessons in marriage.  Often when we get married it reveals the parts of our lives that need to change.  We may think that the primary issue is our partner but if we look in the mirror we might see that we too need to change. 

When it comes to our marriages we need to remember God has an individualized plan for your marriage.  We can understand this when we choose to surrender our vision for marriage for God’s vision for marriage.  When we pray, seek the wisdom from others, and live in Godly community God can shape our thoughts and show us a hope and a future for our marriages.
