Matthew 1:22-23 “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means God with us).”

There is something comforting about having someone “with you” when you are going through a challenge.  A couple of months ago I had a significant surgery and having my wife “with me” as I recovered brought a great amount of comfort.  As we celebrate Christmas Day remember that you are not alone.  Jesus promised to be with us until the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20). The great gift of Christmas is His presence today.

Merry Christmas!
