Philippians 3:8  “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.”

A number of years ago I went cliff jumping with a couple of friends.  To be clear they had done this before and it was my first time!  I remember walking up to edge of the cliff, looking over, and stepping back.  I did this a number of times until eventually I decided to “go for it!”  What a rush.

There are times in life when God calls us to “Go for it” too!  The apostle Paul knew what it meant to “Go For it.”  He wrote the letter to the Philippians from a jail cell where he was imprisoned because of his faith.  But he knew that it was worth it because Jesus was better than anything else in life.  He is better because He saves, He provides, and He heals our lives!

How about you?  Is there an area of your life where God is calling you to “Go for it?”  Today, do you need to take a step of faith?  Is there an adventure that is awaiting for you to simply take a step?

Take a few moments to read and reflect on what Paul learned when he decided to “Go for it” in Philippians 3:8-14.  And take a step of faith today!

God Bless,
